Talisman for Tom Tom

The Talisman isn’t a device, it’s a program for TomTom sat-navs. Based on the award-winning database used in the NOVUS range of products, it covers fixed, mobile, SPECS and red light locations, and is directional. It performs perfectly, speaking a warning and a speed limit (also flashed up on the screen) and issuing a ‘bing’ when passing the trap.

1. Talisman warns the driver of an approaching speed camera by an initial voice alert at approximately 500 yards.
2. Talisman displays at the top of the TOMTOM screen the speed limit associated with the speed camera and the speed camera type.
3. If at 200 yards the vehicle is over the speed limit, Talisman will advise the driver to reduce speed.
4. Talisman sounds an alert as the speed camera is passed.
