The Universal USB kit is an entertainment connectivity device that is offered as a USB digital connection for iPod and iPhone, direct connection for USB Flash based mass storage devices and the aftermarket SIRIUS Satellite Radio tuner and portable radios. The Universal USB kit is Made for iPod (MFi) and Works with iPhone (WWi) compliant allowing a full featured iPod experience over USB in the vehicle.

The Universal USB kit features a completely digital audio circuit with a dedicated audio decoder chip, DSP and IS driven FM modulated output. The result is unsurpassed sound quality in a universal kit. Noise Free, Digital Circuitry: Hard-wired and fully digital audio path from the iPod/USB to the FM modulator chip offers high quality nice-free sound. Easy Installation: Simple in-line connection with vehicle radio. Simple wiring harness with minimal splicing required.

RDS Text Display: Song title, artist and album are shown on the head units display using RDS technology. Quick Browsing on USB Flash Drives: USB Flash Drive supports folder browsing up to 8 levels deep and up to 200 folders in each level. Wireless Remote Control: 13-button IR remote with shortcut buttons designed to allow easy navigation through folders, playlists, artists and albums.

SIRIUS Satellite Radio Connectivity: Add an optional SIRIUS SC-C1 tuner or connect a portable SIRIUS tuner with optional SC-VDOC1 vehicle dock. Text information of artist, album and channel name will be sent as RDS text to the radio.

Direct Control From iPod/iPhone: The iPod and iPhone remains unlocked for a quick and familiar way to browse for content.

The DICE Universal RDS supercharges your factory car radio with features like iPod and iPhone connectivity and internet radio. This universal kit connects directly to your car radio's factory antenna loop giving you crystal clear audio without any static or noise EVER. With RDS technology, artist and song names are displayed on your radio and the Universal RDS is ready for the future because you can update its features and device compatibility right from your computer with the DICE FW Update Application.

Available now in the app store for iPhone and iPod touch is the Livio Car Internet Radio app. It gives you access to over 45,000 AM/FM and internet-only stations from around the world that you can listen to in your car!

The Universal RDS does one thing and it does it right. It connects your iPod or iPhone to your car's factory radio. Nothing to replace, nothing more to add. All you see is a dock cable waiting for an iPod or iPhone to be connected and what you hear is amazingly clear audio from a universal integration kit.

Radios that support RDS text display (artist and song information from radio stations) will display the song information from the iPod. With a quick glance, see what artist, song or playlist the iPod is playing.

This is NOT an FM transmitter! The Universal RDS is a hard-wired kit with a completely digital circuit that connects directly to your car radio's antenna loop. When your iPod is connected, the Universal RDS module automatically blocks signals from your car's factory antenna resulting in static-free and noise-free music from your iPod. The completely digital audio circuit is resistant to any other interference and insures that your music retains it's quality.
